I am a model building enthusiast and have been pursuing the hobby of model shipbuilding for about 5 years. Shipping has always fascinated me, despite or perhaps because of my coastless homeland, and model building has been with me since childhood. Building and steering model boats is a welcome way for me to slow down and develop my creativity at the same time and is a valuable counterpart to my everyday working life. I am interested in models with a minimum of scale, a certain flair and transport-friendly dimensions. I don't want to limit myself to a particular type of ship or era, and I'm always curious about new materials and methods.

With this website I hope to give an insight into a very fulfilling hobby and to provide some inspiration.
